I bought this as a petticoat but it could easily be worn as a normal skirt. It is beautiful and fits well (i'm a uk 20/22). It has a silky under skirt that keeps the harsher fabric away from the skin and really is lovely. Haven't worn it out yet, but danced around the house in it and it is well made. Shipped quickly and wrapped well. Very pleased! :)
